Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfa Uros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Uros's choice of entrance music: Dirty Diana. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 22 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Castle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alfa Uros! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Dean Styles and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Castle sizes up Uros with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Castle just misses with a punch to the body.
Uros blocks a jab. Castle shoots in and drives through. Uros sprawls well. Uros changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Castle looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Castle is not content to let Uros control the position. Uros is putting a hurting on Castle here, landing some big shots from side control. Castle tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Uros tries to get the hooks in deep but Castle pushed the leg off. Castle looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Can Castle hold on?! Uros is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castle covering up well under a barage of strikes. Uros is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Uros gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Uros gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Uros apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Uros works the jab nicely. A big right from Castle misses. Uros darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Uros is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Castle is just riding it out for now. Uros eventually gives up the hold. Castle wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Uros is keen to just control but Castle is a slippery customer. Castle is looking to escape. Castle is not content to let Uros control the position.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Alfa Uros wasn't active enough on the ground. Uros avoids a punch combination nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Castle. Uros does a little dance to reset his feet. Castle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Castle feints and as Uros raises his hands in defense, Castle changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Castle got a little sloppy there for a moment and Uros has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Castle has managed to get both his arms back between Uros's legs - danger averted. Castle avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Castle has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Uros is proving hard to escape from.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Uros is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Uros is taking a breather. Castle says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Uros is trying to control. Castle wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Castle is looking to escape. Uros seems to be looking for submissions.

Alfa Uros dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Uros must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Uros is looking to work some ground and pound but Castle has wrist control. That's one minute gone in the round. Uros seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Uros is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Castle has managed to free his arm - good work. Castle has one foot on Uros's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Castle changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Uros tries to avoid it but Castle manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Uros to the ground. Uros escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Castle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Uros throws a nice looking combination but Castle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Uros pushes Castle up against the cage in a clinch. Uros will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Castle up against the cage. Uros has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Castle is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Castle tries to pull guard but Uros forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Nice body punch from Uros - that landed with a thud.

Uros persists though and gets the takedown into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Uros is standing up over Castle. That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Alfa Uros showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

And that's the end of the fight! Alfa Uros comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Uros has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Alfa Uros! Alfa Uros decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
