Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bat Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Happy Gilmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Bat Man has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bat Man seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

With a record of 24 - 20 - 1, fighting out of London, Happy Gilmore!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilmore with a jab.
Gilmore defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Man.
Man closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gilmore circles away.
Man throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Man looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gilmore is fending him off so far but Man persists. Nope, Gilmore circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bat Man. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Some wild striking there from Man.
Gilmore dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Man. That did some damage!
Man shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gilmore but Gilmore pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Man shoots for a double leg takedown but Gilmore sprawls well. He's pushed Man's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gilmore lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Man has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Gilmore digs a good body shot into Man's ribs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Man shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gilmore as he jumps to the side.
Gilmore lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Man swinging wildly here.
Man on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Man looks to land a combination but Gilmore avoids it well.
Man shoots in but no luck this time.
Man is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Man misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gilmore cracks the inside of Man's front leg.
Gilmore catches Man with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Gilmore fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Man on the side of the head.
Man misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gilmore connects with a good right hand that stumbles Man. Man circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Gilmore goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Man is rocked!
Gilmore lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Oh Man is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Man. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gilmore finds Man's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Man flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Gilmore lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Man will be OK.
