Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Franklin Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dallas Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dallas Riley will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Franklin Dos Santos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dallas Riley! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dos Santos scores with a spinning back kick! Dos Santos looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Dos Santos shoots in and drives through. Riley sprawls well. Dos Santos with a poor takedown and Riley counters with a single leg into guard. Dos Santos didn't expect that. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Franklin Dos Santos. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Dos Santos is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Riley is controlling him. Riley controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dos Santos looking to hit a scissor sweep but Riley is one step ahead there. Dos Santos trying to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Riley preventing the sweep. Riley must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dos Santos is trying to keep Riley in close.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Franklin Dos Santos wasn't doing enough on the ground. Dos Santos fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Riley avoids it really well and circles away. Dos Santos with a lazy takedown attempt and Riley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Dos Santos is breathing heavily. Riley displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dos Santos. Dos Santos throws a sloppy head kick and Riley moves out of range easily. Riley closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dos Santos quickly recovers to half guard. Riley passes to full mount! Riley unloading with bombs! Riley controlling the pace for now. Dos Santos tries to reverse the position but Riley maintains control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dos Santos tries to hold on but Riley pushes him away. Riley lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Riley lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Riley tries to control but Dos Santos wriggling away. Dos Santos might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Riley with a couple of short strikes. Riley prevents Dos Santos from getting the reversal. Dos Santos wants to hold on but Riley pushes him away. Dos Santos in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Riley looking to control and managing it successfully. Riley with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dos Santos tries to lock up and control but Riley gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Dos Santos wants to try and get back to his feet. Riley looking to control and managing it successfully. Dos Santos trying desperately to get to his feet.
Riley has control of Dos Santos's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dos Santos regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Riley controlling his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dos Santos tries to reverse the position but Riley maintains control. Dos Santos tries to control the position but Riley now has his back.
Dos Santos tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Dos Santos is wriggling around trying to escape.
Riley looking to secure an arm triangle but Dos Santos defends it well. Riley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Dos Santos slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dos Santos slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Riley wants to control from the top but Dos Santos keeps moving. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dallas Riley dominated that round. That's time! Dos Santos's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Riley leaves Dos Santos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Riley moves into the clinch. Riley is trying to pull guard but Dos Santos has him pressed against the cage. Riley jumps guard but Dos Santos stands there with Riley around his waist. Riley gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Franklin Dos Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dallas Riley. Riley turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Dos Santos is looking for a sweep. A lull in the action here as Riley stalls from top position. Riley working away. Dallas Riley has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dos Santos tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Riley wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Riley prevents Dos Santos from escaping the position. Riley trying to control the position but Dos Santos is working away. Dos Santos is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Riley asserts his dominance and retains side control. Riley wants to control but Dos Santos is keeping him busy. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Dos Santos manages to get back to half guard. Dos Santos has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Riley is working away from the top position though.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Dos Santos is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Riley pulls his head out easily. Dos Santos has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Riley is working away from the top position though. Riley seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dos Santos does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Riley is working for a kimura but Dos Santos is defending it quite comfortably.

Dos Santos keeping moving, preventing Riley from controlling successfully. Riley gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Dos Santos shoots in for a double leg but Riley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dos Santos shoots in looking for a takedown. Riley tries to sprawl out of it but Dos Santos keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Riley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dos Santos swinging wildly here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Riley throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dos Santos works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Dos Santos is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Dos Santos keeping moving, preventing Riley from controlling successfully. Dos Santos had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Riley defends it easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dos Santos is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Riley tries to free his leg and advance position but Dos Santos is retaining full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dallas Riley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Riley shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Riley showed some decent athleticism there. Dos Santos won't allow Riley to pass to mount. Dos Santos pushes Riley off looking to stand but Riley dives back in and keeps control.
Dos Santos is looking to control Riley's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dos Santos avoid being mounted? Riley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dos Santos keeps working. Dos Santos is looking for a sweep. Riley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Riley is thwarting Dos Santos's attempts to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dos Santos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Riley tries to avoid it but Dos Santos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Riley to the ground. Riley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Excellent takedown into side control there by Riley. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Riley works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Dos Santos with a poor takedown and Riley decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dos Santos's guard. Dos Santos is looking for a guillotine. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Riley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Riley advances to half guard. Riley wants to take a breather but Dos Santos is having none of it. Riley throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Franklin Dos Santos has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Riley gets the takedown into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Riley moves into full mount! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dos Santos bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Dallas Riley is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Riley trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
And that's the end of the fight! Dallas Riley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Riley winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
