Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shigeo Miyato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and General Tso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tso has chosen Kung Fu Fighting as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as General Tso enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Tso misses the target.
Miyato throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Tso fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Miyato manages to avoid it.
Miyato pivots, looking for a leg kick but Tso is out of range and Miyato settles back down.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Tso looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Miyato with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Tso is nestled in close to Miyato, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Miyato has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Tso has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Miyato is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Tso is defending well though. Miyato let's go of the attempt for now.

Miyato is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Tso has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Miyato has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Tso taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Miyato doesn't care though - he's delighted!
