Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scot Risso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Jim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jim Jim was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Scot Risso! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jim Jim! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Risso lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jim has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jim and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Risso closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jim did well to prevent Risso getting side control. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Jim blocking the ground and pound attempt from Risso. Risso tries to stand but can't do so whilst Jim controls his leg. Jim really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Risso. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Risso is working for a kimura but Jim is defending it quite comfortably.
Risso uses his free foot to push down on Jim's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jim. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jim is looking to improve his position but Risso isn't that keen on the idea. Risso content just to control the position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Risso looking for a guillotine from mount but Jim is having none of it. Jim wants to control but Risso is having none of it. Jim looks winded! Risso is working for a guillotine from mount but Jim frees his head quite easily.
Risso stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jim throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Risso clinches up against the cage. Jim jumps guard but Risso stands there with Jim around his waist. Jim gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Risso looking for a guillotine here but Jim defends easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Risso is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Risso wants to stand but Jim is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Risso trying to control the position here. Risso throwing short punches from the bottom. Risso pulls Jim in close to prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Scot Risso wasn't doing enough on the ground. Risso closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jim did well to prevent Risso getting side control. Risso passes to full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Risso content just to control the position here. Jim has given up his back here. Will Risso look for the submission or keep pounding away?
A bit of a pause in the action here. Risso controlling the positon. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Risso has his arm under Jim's chin here. Game over son! Risso squeezes tightly and Jim is forced to tap out!
