Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yashima Hanko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Lisbon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yashima Hanko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Lisbon!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hanko rushes Lisbon and presses him up against the cage.
Lisbon lands a nice elbow from the clinch.


It looks like Yashima Hanko has been cut.
Lisbon prevents the takedown attempt.
Hanko has Lisbon pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lisbon manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Hanko changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lisbon fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yashima Hanko. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hanko feints and as Lisbon raises his hands in defense, Hanko changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Hanko closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hanko lands in his opponent's guard.
Lisbon has his hands on Hanko's head, controlling the position.
Hanko has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lisbon is proving hard to escape from.

Lisbon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Lisbon pulls Hanko in close to prevent any damage.
Lisbon wants to get back to his feet but Hanko is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Lisbon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hanko's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hanko is breathing heavily.
Lisbon wants to pass the guard but Hanko is keeping the position.

Lisbon decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hanko, up you get!

Lisbon rushes Hanko and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Lisbon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hanko fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Hanko wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lisbon has him pressed against the cage.
Hanko wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Lisbon gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Hanko is staying active underneath Lisbon, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Hanko is holding on to half guard well.
Lisbon tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hanko knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

A close round but George Lisbon will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Lisbon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hanko, pushing him back against the cage.
Lisbon tries to pull guard but Hanko won't allow it.

Lisbon ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lisbon no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

and Lisbon counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Hanko wants to sweep but no luck.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hanko goes for an armbar but Lisbon turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Lisbon.

Hanko might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Lisbon wants to control from the top but Hanko keeps moving.
Hanko is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Lisbon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Lisbon wants to pass the guard but Hanko is keeping the position.
Lisbon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hanko is proving hard to escape from.

Lisbon lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Lisbon digs a right hand underneath Hanko's ribcage. Hanko let out a lung full of air as it connected.

George Lisbon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Hanko has his takedown stuffed
and Lisbon counters with a head kick. That will keep Hanko thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Lisbon tries to clinch there but Hanko circles away.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Lisbon and Hanko goes tumbling to the canvas! Lisbon follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.


Hanko is rocked!
Lisbon is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Oh Hanko is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hanko wants to control but Lisbon passes into side.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Hanko seems to have got his legs back now.
Hanko prevents Lisbon from improving position.

Lisbon throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Lisbon grinds an elbow into Hanko's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hanko isn't going anywhere.
Hanko can't do much from the bottom here.

Lisbon stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Lisbon shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lisbon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Lisbon fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Lisbon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Lisbon lands a big shot there that rocks Hanko but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hanko tries to hold on but Lisbon postures up.
Lisbon content just to control the position here.
Lisbon prevents Hanko from getting the reversal.

Lisbon trying to control but Hanko is having none of it.
George Lisbon has got the better of the ground game so far.

Lisbon wants to finish this one by submission but Hanko is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lisbon.
Hanko is squirming around, avoiding Lisbon's attempts to control the action.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hanko is trying desperately to improve position.
Lisbon looking to control but Hanko is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Hanko can't escape the position.

George Lisbon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lisbon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
