Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Robinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Wigley!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson looks for a takedown but Wigley sprawls well.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Robinson manages to pull guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Robinson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Wigley decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Nice sprawl there from Wigley as Robinson shoots in.

Wigley throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Robinson was covering up waiting for the punch and Wigley finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Wigley stands up over Robinson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Robinson shoots in and drives through. Wigley sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Robinson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Wigley jumps into guard, dragging Robinson to the mat.
Robinson wants to control from the top but Wigley keeps moving.

Wigley looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Robinson has gone for a leg lock! Wigley slips out almost immediately though and dives into Robinson's guard.

Wigley stands and steps away. Robinson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Wigley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Robinson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Wigley counters with a low kick, right behind Robinson 's knee.
Robinson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wigley as he avoids it easily.

Wigley fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Robinson to the ground. Wigley is now in Robinson's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wigley is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Robinson's half guard.

Wigley is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Wigley seems to be working for a kimura but Robinson defends the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robinson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wigley pinned against the cage. Wigley gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Robinson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Robinson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wigley manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Wigley is pressed up against the cage. Robinson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wigley down to the mat. Wigley avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Robinson closes the distance and clinches up with Wigley, looking for a takedown. Robinson pushes Wigley against the cage but Wigley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wigley lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Robinson at a distance.
Robinson throws a nice looking combination but Wigley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Wigley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Robinson sprawls well initially but Wigley persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wigley stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Robinson to get to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wigley working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Wigley decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

and Robinson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Wigley has his foot on Robinson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Robinson works his way back into a safe position though.

Robinson gets to his feet. Wigley looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Wigley shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wigley showed some decent athleticism there.

Wigley slaps away a takedown attempt from Robinson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Wigley throws a sloppy head kick and Robinson moves out of range easily.
Robinson misses with a series of wild punches.
Wigley lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Robinson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wigley to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jack Wigley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Robinson wants to clinch up but Wigley keeps it at a distance.

Wigley has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Robinson uses from the top position.

Wigley has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Wigley. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Wigley enables Robinson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wigley manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Wigley shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Robinson is trying to defend but Wigley finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

It looks like Wigley is going to stand back up.
Wigley seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Robinson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Jack Wigley has got the better of the ground game so far.
Robinson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Wigley wants to control but Robinson is keeping busy.
Jack Wigley is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jack Wigley wasn't active enough on the ground.
Robinson moves out of range of the body kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Wigley dives in and scores a takedown into Robinson's guard.
Ryan Robinson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

I would just about give that final round to Jack Wigley.
Well Wigley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
