The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hill. Hill obviously looking to wear him down.

Jones scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Hill parries the strikes from Jones easily there. Jones is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hill to escape.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Jones in side control, throwing shots but Hill defends.

Jones has hold of Hill's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Hill tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Jones cranks the arm and Hill screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hill, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
