The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayabusa misses with a hook
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Hayabusa tries to clinch
and Down counters with a single leg into guard. Hayabusa didn't expect that.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Down sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hayabusa's guard.
Hayabusa really is a fat lump.
Down is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hayabusa is just riding it out for now. Down eventually gives up the hold.
Down is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hayabusa doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Down.
Hayabusa on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hayabusa tries to get out of the position.
Down in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hayabusa tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Down!
