Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randall McMurphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oisin O Conghaile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McMurphy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I own Golly God.. O Conghaile has chosen The Deer's Cry by Angelina as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Oisin O Conghaile was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oisin O Conghaile! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! O Conghaile lands with a slapping head kick. A head kick misses from O Conghaile. O Conghaile throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by McMurphy.
It looks like Randall McMurphy has been cut. McMurphy looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for O Conghaile! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. O Conghaile is not content to let McMurphy control the position. O Conghaile is trying to buck McMurphy off. McMurphy thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. McMurphy working the ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McMurphy lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear O Conghaile down.

It looks like Oisin O Conghaile has been cut. Good standup being displayed there by McMurphy as he connects with a hook. McMurphy shoots in but no luck this time. A big right from McMurphy misses. O Conghaile tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McMurphy fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. O Conghaile walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. McMurphy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. O Conghaile tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. McMurphy is in O Conghaile's guard. O Conghaile throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but McMurphy blocks it with crossed arms. O Conghaile tried to land a shot to the body but connects with McMurphy's elbow. McMurphy fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

O Conghaile tries to work over McMurphy's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. McMurphy keeps the fight in the clinch, despite O Conghaile's efforts to push away. Nice body punch from McMurphy - that landed with a thud.
O Conghaile is trying to push McMurphy away but McMurphy has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. O Conghaile wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

McMurphy lands a hook that snaps the head of O Conghaile backwards. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nice elbow from O Conghaile. Randall McMurphy has scored more points in the clinch so far. A hook to the body from McMurphy.
O Conghaile takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. O Conghaile scores with a shot to the side of McMurphy's head. O Conghaile goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
And that's the end of the fight! Randall McMurphy showed his dominance in that final round. Well McMurphy has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
