Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jamaal Griery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griery kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is God Gave Me Style. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jones lands in his opponent's guard.

Jones bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jones wants to control but Griery is keeping him busy.
Griery knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.

Jones has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Griery misses with a knee strike.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Some bone on bone action there as Griery checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Griery was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Let's hope that Jones has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Jones swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Griery is now in Jones's guard. A big mistake from Jones there, giving up the dominant position!

Jones ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jones no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Jones has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Griery doesn't defend quickly enough and Jones has managed to lock this one up! Can Griery escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Jones on a fantastic submission victory.
