The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polaniecki tries to land a leg kick but Cooke saw it coming and moves away.
Cooke tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Polaniecki swivels and escapes.
Polaniecki lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Polaniecki swats away the attempt to clinch by Cooke.
Cooke closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Cooke is working for takedown but Polaniecki is calmly controlling the position for now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cooke goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Polaniecki has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Cooke but great work by Polaniecki.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Polaniecki cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Cooke misses with a double jab
and Cooke takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cooke closes this distance looking for a takedown but Polaniecki circles away.
Eric Cooke is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Polaniecki keeps the fight on the outside.
A chopping leg kick lands by Polaniecki.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cooke crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Polaniecki - the referee stops the clock and Cooke gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Polaniecki. Cooke manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cooke gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Polaniecki.
Polaniecki lands with a right and another and another! Cooke is in big trouble! Polaniecki lands again and this time it's lights out for Cooke! A quality knockout there for Polaniecki.
