Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derek Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Fixer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns comes to the cage accompanied by Wanted Dead or Alive. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Derek Burns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ray Fixer!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns scores with a body shot.
Burns lands a nice shot that snaps Fixer's head back.
Fixer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Burns tries to avoid it but Fixer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Burns to the ground. Burns escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fixer's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Burns connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fixer scrambles back to his feet.
Burns stuns Fixer with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Derek Burns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fixer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Burns pinned against the cage. Burns gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fixer takes one to the side of the head.
Burns smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Burns cracks Fixer with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Fixer tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Burns pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Fixer is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Derek Burns!
