Nahwatsu comes into the arena with The Two Towers blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Buakaw Nahwatsu has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Buakaw Nahwatsu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Maan Singh!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh throws a one two combo.
Nahwatsu tries a head kick but it misses.
Buakaw Nahwatsu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed right hand from Singh misses the target.
Nahwatsu scores with a head kick.
Nahwatsu throws a good cross that connects.

Singh changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nahwatsu looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Nahwatsu defending against the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Singh looking to control but instead Nahwatsu has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Singh winds up and cracks Nahwatsu with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Singh trying to control from half guard but Nahwatsu is working away.

Nahwatsu actively working from the bottom here.
Nahwatsu tries to kick Singh off but Singh keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Singh is nestled in close to Nahwatsu, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Singh passes to full mount!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Singh cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Nahwatsu is bucking up trying to escape but Singh cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
BOOM! Singh connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The referee warns Nahwatsu that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.


Nahwatsu is rocked!
Singh is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Nahwatsu goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Singh!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Maan Singh!
A victorious Maan Singh thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
