Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Heath Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Brit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Wild International. Brit is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Same in the End. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Heath Smith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Brit! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith takes a jab right on the kisser.
Smith tries for a takedown but Brit circles away easily and Brit counters with a lovely straight right hand! Brit checks a low kick from Smith. Brit connects with a leg kick. Smith looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Smith shoots in looking for a takedown but Brit manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Smith's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Smith fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Heath Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him. Smith shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Smith showed some decent athleticism there. Smith wants to take a breather but Brit is having none of it. Brit is positioning himself well to prevent Smith advancing to mount. Smith trying to pass the guard but Brit defending well. Smith seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brit does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brit moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Brit has his foot on Smith's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Smith works his way back into a safe position though. Smith is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Brit is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brit being controlled here, momentarily.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Heath Smith wasn't doing enough on the ground. Brit avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brit fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Smith misses with a body shot.
Nice straight punches there by Smith. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Smith. Smith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brit's waist but Brit gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smith off to one side. Smith fails in his attempt to clinch. Smith misses with a kick to the body.
Brit throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Smith tries to close the distance and clinch but Brit swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Heath Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brit bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Smith's head backwards. Smith looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Smith throws a shot to the body.
Brit misses with an attempted mid kick.
Smith shoots for a double leg takedown but Brit sprawls well. He's pushed Smith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Brit connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Smith's hands. Brit feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Smith's calf. Smith scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Brit doesn't seem bothered though. Brit punishes Smith's body with a nice straight punch. Smith fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brit avoids it really well and circles away. Nice sprawl there from Brit as Smith shoots in. Brit looks to land a left hand but Smith moved out of range nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smith is defended easily by Brit. Brit looks to land a right hand but Smith moved out of range. Brit scores with a kick to the midsection. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Smith shoots in looking for a takedown but Brit manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Smith's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Brit tries to score a power double leg takedown but Smith sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brit somewhat. Smith misses with a body shot.
Brit misses with a kick to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Smith is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Brit motions for Smith to come forward. Brit throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Brit throws a series of punches but Smith moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jimmy Brit will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Smith takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Brit. Smith looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Brit bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Smith's guard. Smith is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Brit throwing strikes but missing. Smith is looking to stand up but Brit isn't so interested in that idea. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Smith is on top in guard.
Smith showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brit looking to hit a scissor sweep but Smith is one step ahead there. Smith engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith pushes down on Brit's leg and manages to get into half guard. Smith takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Brit makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Brit. Brit manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Smith blocking the ground and pound. Smith is trying to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brit scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Smith?
Smith squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Smith is in a horrible position here. Brit smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Smith is trying to stand. Brit raining down shots from the mount! Brit scoring with strikes but Smith is staying in there.
Smith is rocked! Brit postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Smith badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Brit around the waist but Brit pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Brit is the winner by TKO! Brit jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmy Brit! A very excited looking Jimmy Brit made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
