Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mason Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Coach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Archer comes to the cage accompanied by Predator Theme. James Coach has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
38 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mason Archer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Coach! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Archer lands with a nice body kick. Archer checks the leg kick nicely there.
Coach lands with a cross. Archer has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Coach finds it's way round the side to connect with Archer's head. Coach tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Archer was well out of range. Poor timing from Coach. Coach throws out a leg kick but Archer moves out of range and Coach only half commits. Coach connects with a good right hand that stumbles Archer. Archer circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Mason Archer has been cut. Coach lands a nice looking body kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Archer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Archer fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Coach on the side of the head. Archer connects with a nice looking jab.
Coach takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Archer avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Archer tries to close the distance and clinch but Coach swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Archer thows a left - swing and a miss! Coach dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Coach misses with a hook to the body
and Archer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Archer throws a low kick but it's checked well by Coach.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coach shoots in and bounces Archer off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Coach is in close to Archer's body, working some short punches and elbows. Archer has control of Coach's left arm, preventing Coach from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Coach trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Coach preventing the sweep. Archer has control of Coach's left arm, preventing Coach from doing any damage. We're going to have a standup here because Mason Archer wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Archer tries to work over Coach's front leg with a kick but Coach checks it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Coach fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Coach shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Archer looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. James Coach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Coach moves out of range as Archer strikes. Mason Archer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Archer lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Archer wants to clinch up but Coach keeps it at a distance. Coach throws a leg kick which misses Archer's front leg but catches the back leg as Archer tries to avoid it. Coach connects with a body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coach throws a sloppy head kick and Archer moves out of range easily. Coach loads up on a big right hand but Archer slips the punch. Coach throws out a leg kick but Archer moves out of range and Coach only half commits. Archer pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Archer thumps Coach with a low kick. Archer has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Archer blocks a jab. Coach is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Archer rather than just go for the knockout. Coach lands the left hand. Coach closes the distance and clinches up with Archer, looking for a takedown. Coach pushes Archer against the cage but Archer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Coach connects with a high kick. Coach blocks a head kick by Archer.
Coach throws a leg kick and Archer counters with a straight punch to the midsection. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Archer fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A jab from Coach misses. Nice shot lands for Archer. Archer checks a leg kick. Archer lands a leg kick that knocks Coach off balance momentarily. Archer throws a head kick that Coach semi-blocks.
Coach throws a body punch but Archer moves out of range. Coach looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Archer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Coach stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Archer throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Coach counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Archer is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Archer gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Archer moves in looking to clinch but Coach pushes him off. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nice body kick from Archer. Archer lands with a straight right. Coach didn't see that one coming. Coach fails with the takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but James Coach will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Mason Archer's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Archer lands a jab. Archer thuds a left hand into Coach's body. Coach misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Archer.

Coach shoots in and gets a takedown into Archer's guard. Coach working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Coach stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Archer swivels though and keeps the full guard. Coach wants to control from the top but Archer keeps moving. Archer is trying to control the position but Coach postures up. Archer seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Archer shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Coach takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Archer lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Coach at a distance.
Coach has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Archer. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Archer wants to clinch up but Coach keeps it at a distance. Coach has a takedown stuffed. Archer is looking to clinch. Archer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Coach throws a leg kick but Archer checks it. Archer misses with a low kick as Coach jumps back. Coach thows a body shot but no joy. Archer tries to clinch there but Coach circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Archer stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Archer on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. A big right from Coach misses. Coach changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Archer tries to avoid it but Coach manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Archer to the ground. Archer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Archer tries to clinch there but Coach circles away.

Archer stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Archer tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Coach avoids it. Archer lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Coach backwards. Coach prevents a body shot from Archer. Coach's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Archer lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like James Coach has been cut. Archer lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Coach backwards. A shot in the inside from Archer. Archer lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Coach. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Archer prevents a body shot from Coach. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Archer gets through Coach's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Archer lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Coach. Archer tries to work over Coach's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mason Archer dominated that second round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Archer gets through Coach's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Coach wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A head punch blocked on the inside by Coach. A short right from Archer on the inside. Mason Archer has scored more points in the clinch so far. Archer blocking some punches.
Archer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Good leg kick by Archer there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

And that's the end of the fight! Mason Archer showed his dominance in that final round. I think Archer has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Mason Archer! Mason Archer decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
