Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean Schamp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicolaj Diasus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schamp's entrance music is Go 2 Sleep. A fine choice. Diasus has chosen Jet - Are you gonna be my girl as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sean Schamp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nicolaj Diasus! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diasus's jab looks to have found its range, popping Schamp under the eye. Diasus lunges at Schamp with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Schamp's hand. Diasus scores with a one two! Schamp had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Sean Schamp has been cut. A punch lands to the side of Schamp 's head but he takes it in his stride. Jab, jab by Diasus - just one landing. Diasus stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Schamp ducks right into an uppercut from Diasus. This has been an exciting period of action! Diasus lands the left hand. Diasus uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Schamp has time to react. Diasus slips under a jab. Nicolaj Diasus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Diasus uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Schamp has time to react. Diasus sizes up Schamp with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Diasus lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Diasus pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Schamp back to the cage. Diasus follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Schamp takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Schamp gets a takedown into half guard. Diasus wants to improve his position but Schamp is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Schamp throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Diasus tries to roll over but Schamp keeps him under control. Schamp is trying to control the action in half guard but Diasus is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Diasus moves into full guard.
Diasus not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Diasus is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Diasus trying to pass the guard but Schamp defending well. Diasus seems to be working for a kimura but Schamp defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diasus is stalling here. Schamp is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Diasus seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Schamp has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Diasus is trying to improve his position. Check out the look on Schamp's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Diasus parries the strikes from Schamp easily there. Schamp is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Diasus to escape.
You can see the frustration on Diasus's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Diasus gets back to half guard. Diasus gets full guard. Schamp loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Diasus wants to sweep here but Schamp controlling him for the moment. Diasus not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schamp trying to control the position from guard on top but Diasus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Schamp won't allow Diasus to sweep him here. Schamp in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Diasus trying to keep a closed guard but Schamp is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schamp postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Schamp is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Schamp postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A right-left combo lands from Diasus. Diasus circles away from the clinch attempt.
Schamp avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nicolaj Diasus is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Schamp on the wrong end of a nice jab. Schamp throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Diasus was covering up waiting for the punch and Schamp finishes the takedown easily into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Diasus trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schamp being controlled here momentarily. Diasus keeping full guard, as Schamp tries to pass. Diasus trying to keep a closed guard but Schamp is proving a slippery customer.
Schamp wants to stand and escape but instead Diasus has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Diasus looking to pass the guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Diasus trying to control but Schamp is working from the bottom. Diasus postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Schamp is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Diasus, into his guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nicolaj Diasus dominated that round. The cut man is working on Sean Schamp's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Diasus tries to sprawl but Schamp drives through with a takedown into half guard. Schamp looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Schamp is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Diasus not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Diasus is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Schamp postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sean Schamp overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diasus looking for a sweep. Not yet Diasus, not yet. Schamp trying to control the position from guard on top but Diasus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Schamp working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Diasus controls Schamp momentarily but Schamp frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schamp missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Schamp looking to pass the guard. Diasus controls Schamp momentarily but Schamp frees himself. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Schamp preventing the sweep. Diasus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Schamp can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Diasus can't keep his opponent in guard - Schamp advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diasus is looking for a sweep. Schamp is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are battling for position here. Diasus manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Diasus manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Diasus wants to take his opponent's back but Schamp doesn't allow it. Diasus is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Schamp has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Schamp!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diasus looking to hit a scissor sweep but Schamp is one step ahead there. Diasus keeping moving, preventing Schamp from controlling successfully. Diasus trying to control the position.
Schamp trying to stand up but can't free himself from Diasus's guard. Diasus is trying to control the position but Schamp postures up. Schamp drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Diasus manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Schamp has Diasus in his guard. Schamp keeping moving, preventing Diasus from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schamp keeping full guard, as Diasus tries to pass. Diasus is pushing down on Schamp's leg trying to pass to half guard. Schamp is fighting to maintain full guard but Diasus has managed to sneak the leg through. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Schamp is staying active underneath Diasus, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Schamp pushes Diasus off looking to stand but Diasus dives back in and keeps control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nicolaj Diasus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Sean Schamp's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Diasus will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Diasus escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Schamp gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Diasus keeping full guard, as Schamp tries to pass. Schamp lands a couple of decent looking shots. Diasus working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Schamp doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Schamp manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Diasus looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schamp is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Schamp throws a big elbow that misses. Diasus lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Schamp! Schamp manages to regain half guard. Good work. Schamp controlling the position for now. Diasus is working for a submission of some sort.

Diasus wants to free his trapped foot but Schamp is holding on for dear life with his legs. Diasus wants to take a breather but Schamp is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diasus has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Schamp's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Diasus trying to control but Schamp is having none of it. Diasus controlling from the full mount. Diasus moves to back control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diasus struggling to keep hold of the position.
Diasus trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Schamp doesn't escape. Schamp looking very determined here, making life difficult for Diasus.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sean Schamp has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Diasus might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Schamp haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
And that's the end of the fight! Nicolaj Diasus comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Diasus has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
