The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zebub lands an overhand right.
Zebub connects with the punch.
Zebub throws a low kick but Roach moves out of range easily.
Roach cracks Zebub with a good jab.
Zebub cracks Roach with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Bartholomew Roach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zebub tries to throw a body punch but Roach avoids it by throwing Zebub back against the cage.

Zebub's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Zebub on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Zebub takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Zebub moves forwards but Roach connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Roach cracks Zebub with a right hand to the side of the head.
Roach looks to score with a jab to the body but Zebub is just out of range.
Roach has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Zebub throws a jab when Roach was well out of range.
Roach connects with a leg kick. Zebub looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Roach scores with the left hand. Zebub knows he should have avoided that one.

Zebub is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zebub switches off momentarily and Roach cracks him with a monster right hand! Zebub topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Roach dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Roach!
