The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weidman closes the distance but Anderson moves to the side
and Anderson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Weidman's guard.
Weidman is looking for a triangle but Anderson pushes his legs off easily.
Weidman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anderson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anderson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Weidman is on top in guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Anderson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Anderson is looking to stand back up but Weidman counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Anderson.
Weidman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Anderson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Anderson is defending against the submission attempts here by Weidman.
Anderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Weidman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Weidman has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Anderson defend it? Weidman steps over the head and cranks it - Anderson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Weidman!
