With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brian Garcia!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia throws a nice looking combination but Roost bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Roost uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Garcia.
Roost jabs Garcia right on the nose. Garcia blinks but takes it well.
Roost ducks under a wild hook from Garcia.
Garcia throws a low kick but it's checked well by Roost.

Roost moves into the clinch.
Garcia is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Roost is keeping busy.

Roost is trying to push Garcia away but Garcia has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Garcia tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Roost's elbow.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Garcia is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Garcia will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Roost up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Roost lands a right hand that snaps the head of Garcia backwards.

Garcia stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Garcia wants it to stay on the feet.
Garcia loads up on a big right hand but Roost slips the punch.

Roost scores with a one two! Garcia had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Roost dives in and scores a takedown into Garcia's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Garcia has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Roost can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Garcia looking for a triangle here. Roost is fighting it but it looks tight! Garcia pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Roost is tapping out - this one is all over!
