Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Woima Karhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hois Kreisi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karhu kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is House of Pain - Jump Around. Kreisi has chosen Ella ja Aleksi - Kakkaa lumella as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Woima Karhu!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hois Kreisi!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kreisi ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Karhu scores with a body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Karhu. Kreisi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Karhu's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kreisi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Karhu scrambles back to his feet.
Karhu lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Karhu tries to close the distance and clinch but Kreisi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Karhu got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kreisi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Karhu has managed to get both his arms back between Kreisi's legs - danger averted.
Kreisi is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell?
Karhu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kreisi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Karhu wants to control from the top but Kreisi keeps moving.

Kreisi has his foot on Karhu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Karhu works his way back into a safe position though.
Karhu is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
