The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chino was well out of range. Poor timing from Ross.
Nate Ross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ross swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A slow jab from Ross misses its intended target.
Chino tries a head kick but it misses.
Chino misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Chino pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ross avoids the head kick by Chino.
Ross throws a hook but Chino blocks it.
Chino lands a head kick. Ross smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Nate Ross has been cut.
Chino tries a head kick but it misses.
Good leg kick by Chino there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Ross is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chino throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ross closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Chino! Ross dives in looking to finish! Chino is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nate Ross!
