Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Woodrow Huckleberry Tiberius Boyd!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyd has managed to clinch.
Maverick is pressed up against the cage. Boyd has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Maverick down to the mat. Maverick avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Boyd shoots for a takedown but Maverick saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Boyd instigates a clinch.
Boyd changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Maverick fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Seth Maverick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Woodrow Huckleberry Tiberius Boyd.
Maverick closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Boyd did well to prevent Maverick getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boyd wants to get back to his feet.

Maverick working over Boyd with some ground and pound. Boyd looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Boyd on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Maverick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boyd on the ground.
Boyd moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Maverick trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Maverick is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Boyd is looking to sinch up a triangle. Maverick throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Boyd's body to avoid the submission. Boyd has instead reached around Maverick's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Boyd arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
