Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sakho Ribetsovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cuchilla Machete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machete has chosen Eye of the Tiger as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Cuchilla Machete told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machete throws a series of punches but Ribetsovski moves out of range.

Machete throws a right and a left that Ribetsovski avoids nicely.
Ribetsovski takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Ribetsovski showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Machete.
Machete moves out of range of the body kick.
Machete swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Machete throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Machete lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Machete.
Machete misses with a two punch combination.
Machete lands a jab to the head.
Machete swats away the attempt to clinch by Ribetsovski.

Machete throws a head kick that misses.
Ribetsovski shoots in and gets a takedown into Machete's guard.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Machete is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ribetsovski dives into side control.
Ribetsovski tries to advance to mount but can't.
Machete is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ribetsovski has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Machete bucks up and tries to throw Ribetsovski off but instead Ribetsovski has got his back!
Ribetsovski has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Machete is defending well but eventually Ribetsovski manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Machete has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sakho Ribetsovski!
