Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 19 - 1, fighting out of London, Stephan Anton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gary White! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anton avoids a low kick by using good footwork. White misses with a left hand and Anton counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. White is lucky that one didn't land flush. Anton keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
White keeps Anton at a distance using the push kick. Anton on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
White gets in close and instigates a clinch. Anton has had enough of the clinch but White keeps him there for the moment. Anton goes for a takedown attempt but White pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
White closes the distance and pushes Anton back into the cage. Anton tries to pull guard but White forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Anton blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. A short right from White. White lands an elbow that stopped Anton in his tracks for a moment. Anton prevents a body shot from White. Anton wants to break the clinch but can't.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. White tries to stall but Anton uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
White misses with a shot to the kidneys.
White taking a breather. White lands on the inside with an uppercut. White is pressed up against the cage. Anton has hold of a leg and is looking to drag White down to the mat. White avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stephan Anton. That's going to take a lot out of him. White tries a head kick but it misses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Anton crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from White - the referee stops the clock and Anton gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says White. Anton manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Anton shoots in but no luck this time. Anton misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. White clinches with his opponent.
White pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Anton scores with a nice right hand.
Anton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has White pinned against the cage. White gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. White throws a sloppy head kick and Anton moves out of range easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. White lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Stephan Anton has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. White throws a predictable looking body shot
and Anton counters with a two punch combo. Anton shoots in and gets a takedown into White's guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. White manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
White is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Anton is surviving well by controlling White's body position as best he can. White postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Anton looks a forlorn figure.

That's three minutes gone in the round. White is working for a guillotine from mount but Anton frees his head quite easily.
Anton tries to hold on but White postures up. Anton really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
White avoids the attempt from Anton to control. Anton wants to try and get back to his feet. White jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Anton is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Anton and White has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Anton is trying to control White's posture but White avoids it. White takes a little break here. Anton wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. White lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Anton down.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Anton taking a bit of punishment here - White scoring with strikes.

White fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Anton is out of range. Anton shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says White as he avoids it easily. Anton keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

White thows a leg kick but Anton checks it and Anton makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. White dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Gary White seems to be getting the better of the standup. White throws a lazy body kick and Anton counters with a nice double leg into side control. White won't be happy with that. White is looking for a sweep. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. White is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

White tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Anton wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Anton looks up at the clock and then as White takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Anton smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
White struggling a bit here. A lull in the action here as Anton stalls from top position. Anton trying to control the position but White is working away. Anton working the head and body with strikes. White struggling a bit here. White throws Anton to one side and escapes! White feints a jab promting Anton to slip. White then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Anton slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anton misses with a takedown and White counters with a thumping low kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stephan Anton. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. White looks to land a body kick but Anton moved away. White connects with a high kick. A solid leg kick lands there for White.

White pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. White lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. White throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Nice defenses there by Anton. Anton misses with a takedown attempt - White sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. White misses with a body kick.

White attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. White throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Stephan Anton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. White throws a chopping leg kick but Anton manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Anton takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! White looking to hit a scissor sweep but Anton is one step ahead there. Anton stops White from standing up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Anton drops back, looking for a kneebar! White looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. White looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from White! White is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Anton is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gary White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Stephan Anton's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

White is not content to let Anton control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anton is trying to get an arm triangle but White is defending well. White tries to bench press Anton off him but Anton keeps the position. White is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Anton is trying to work for a kimura but White is defending well.
Anton wants to lay and pray for a moment but White keeps working.

Anton seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but White does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The fighters are battling for position here. White manages to regain full guard. Nice work. White looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Anton trying to control but White is working from the bottom. White has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Anton off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. White ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Anton moves away. White moves out of range of the body kick from Anton.
Anton keeps the fight on the outside. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Anton shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as White sprawls well. White wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Anton gets slowly back to his feet. Anton avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Gary White. Well White has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
