PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jaime Lannister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Jager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lannister misses with a two punch combination.
Jager displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lannister throws out the jab.
Jager stalks Lannister and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lannister's face. Lannister staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Jaime Lannister has been cut.

Lannister tries to keep at a distance but Jager has taken the fight into the clinch.

Jager breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lannister on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Lannister works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lannister fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jager displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Lannister keeps the fight on the outside.
Lannister throws out a powerful jab.
Lannister throws a right and a left that both miss.

Jager moves into the clinch successfully.
Lannister lands a body punch in the clinch.
Lannister is trying to force a seperation but Jager has the dominant position.
Lannister wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Lannister tries to circle away but Jager has him pinned against the ropes.

Jager escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lannister scores with a jab to the head.

Lannister throws a big shot that misses.
Lannister misses with a body shot.
Lannister misses with a series of wild punches.
Jager ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lannister swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Lannister just misses with a punch to the body.
Jager uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lannister.
Jager lands a head shot.
Jager lands a head kick!
Jager doesn't manage to clinch there - Lannister circles away.
Jager throws a sloppy head kick and Lannister moves out of range easily.
Jager uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lannister.
Lannister misses with a left hand
and Jager counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A head kick from Jager lands but Lannister takes it in his stride.
Lannister throws a right hand that Jager ducks under and follows up with a left that Jager also avoids with ease.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lannister throws a big shot that misses.

Jager lands a front kick to the face, that drops Lannister to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!

Jaime Lannister's cut is getting worse.
Jager throws a head kick that misses.
Jager avoids the body shot from Lannister.
Lannister looks to throw the jab but Jager is out of range.
Lannister throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jager takes advantage, countering with a massive head kick that sends Lannister sprawling across the canvas! That's completely screwed up his equilibrium and I'm not sure he's going to beat the count! The referee's already at 6 and Lannister is flopping around all over the place - the referee has seen enough and has called an end to the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Chuck Jager!
A relieved looking Chuck Jager thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
