Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotr Sminosic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucas comes into the arena with Millencolin - Mr Clean blaring out of the sound system. Sminosic has chosen R.E.M - Losing my Religion as his entrance music. Matthew Lucas could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Piotr Sminosic's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sminosic bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lucas's head.
Lucas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sminosic moves away.
Sminosic swinging wildly here.

Sminosic rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lucas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Lucas counters with a right hand to the body.

Lucas drops Sminosic with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sminosic looks back up at him and smiles so Lucas waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Sminosic is rocked!
It looks like Piotr Sminosic has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Crack! Lucas connects with the perfect overhand right and Sminosic falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Lucas!

Matthew Lucas spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
