Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kip Aragus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Glenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aragus kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kill of the Night - Gin Wigmore. Glenn has chosen Say It Aint So by Weezer as his entrance music. Robert Glenn is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Glenn!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aragus takes a swing at Glenn's ribcage but misses.
No joy there for Aragus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Aragus scores with a three punch combo!
Glenn shoots in for a takedown but Aragus shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Aragus fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Aragus ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Aragus jabs Glenn to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Glenn tries to clinch there but Aragus circles away.

Aragus shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Aragus was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Glenn prevents Aragus from improving position.
Glenn is looking for a sweep.
Aragus lands some shots froms side control.
Glenn avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Aragus.
Glenn struggling a bit here.
Glenn might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Aragus haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Glenn is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Aragus's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Aragus lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Aragus lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Glenn!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Glenn tries to lock up and control but Aragus gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Aragus lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Glenn hang on?
Glenn tries to reverse the position but Aragus maintains control.
Glenn tries to hold on but Aragus pushes him away.
Aragus scores with a couple of good head shots there.

A big strike lands for Aragus! That's really hurt Glenn and he's turned his back - Aragus keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Aragus jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kip Aragus!
Kip Aragus decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
