The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Peri is defended easily by Howlingate.
Howlingate takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
No luck for Peri with that takedown attempt.
Peri throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nice sprawl there from Howlingate as Peri shoots in.
Roger Howlingate has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Peri.
Peri takes one to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Peri lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Howlingate circles away quickly and effectively.
Howlingate misses with a body kick.
Howlingate fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Peri manages to avoid it.
Howlingate throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Peri drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Howlingate cracks Peri with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Peri looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Howlingate finish him?
Howlingate throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Howlingate sends Peri crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Howlingate is motioning to the referee to let Peri up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Peri is rocked!

It looks like Adam Peri has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Howlingate lands with a thumping leg kick.
Howlingate fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Peri throws a body punch but Howlingate moves out of range.
Peri gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Howlingate counters with a nice leg kick.
Roger Howlingate is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Howlingate closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Peri out cold! Peri corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
