Karpesh scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
ODonnelly wants to control but Karpesh is keeping busy.
Karpesh seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but ODonnelly does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
ODonnelly gets back to full guard.
Karpesh trying to control the position from guard on top but ODonnelly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
ODonnelly throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
ODonnelly has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
ODonnelly has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Karpesh should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, ODonnelly has tightened it up now! Karpesh should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
