The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byrne slips a jab from Duuket.
Duuket keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Byrne.
Duuket throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Byrne jabs Duuket right on the nose. Duuket blinks but takes it well.
Nice sprawl there from Byrne as Duuket shoots in.
Duuket takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Kenny Duuket has been cut.
Byrne rushes Duuket and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Byrne fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Duuket tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Duuket goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Duuket swings wildly with an uppercut but Byrne uses good head movement to avoid it.
Duuket lands a right hand that snaps the head of Byrne backwards.

Byrne throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Duuket blocks it with crossed arms.
Byrne unloads a knee to the mid-section. Duuket lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Byrne tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Duuket avoids it.
Duuket pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Duuket fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Byrne avoids it really well and circles away.
David Byrne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenny Duuket.
Duuket looks to land a combination but Byrne avoids it well.

Duuket lands with a good body shot.
Byrne misses with a body kick.
Duuket ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Byrne moves away.
No luck for Duuket with that takedown attempt.
Duuket punishes Byrne's body with a nice straight punch.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Duuket accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Duuket frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Byrne is desperately trying to improve his position but Duuket has a good base and remains in mount.
