Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Katt Mamma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Dennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ron Dennis!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamma closes the distance and clinches up with Dennis, looking for a takedown. Mamma pushes Dennis against the cage but Dennis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dennis doesn't manage to clinch there - Mamma circles away.

and Mamma counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mamma.
Dennis pulls guard successfully.
Dennis looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mamma stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dennis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mamma is working hard here to advance position.
Mamma trying to control but Dennis is working from the bottom.
Dennis wants to stand but Mamma is controlling the position.
Mamma is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dennis is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dennis has escaped and now he's on top!
Mamma is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dennis has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mamma is proving hard to escape from.
Mamma is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Mamma has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Dennis doesn't defend quickly enough and Mamma has managed to lock this one up! Can Dennis escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Mamma on a fantastic submission victory.
