Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sussoko Bugnti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damon Wojtk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wojtk has chosen Lunatic Fringe, Red Rider as his entrance music. Sussoko Bugnti could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Damon Wojtk's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bugnti takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Wojtk misses with a few strikes there.
Wojtk throws a series of punches but Bugnti avoids them all with ease.
Wojtk lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bugnti enables Wojtk to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bugnti manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Bugnti is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Bugnti is working for takedown but Wojtk is calmly controlling the position for now.
Wojtk jumps guard but Bugnti stands there with Wojtk around his waist. Wojtk gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Wojtk goes for a takedown attempt but Bugnti pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Wojtk tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Wojtk tries for a takedown but Bugnti sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sussoko Bugnti has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damon Wojtk.

Bugnti gets caught flat footed, as Wojtk shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bugnti will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bugnti is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Wojtk cracks Bugnti with a solid left hand.
Bugnti looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Bugnti tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bugnti wants to stand up but Wojtk is controlling him.

Wojtk slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Wojtk throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Bugnti's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Wojtk dives in looking to finish as Bugnti flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Wojtk's strikes! Wojtk is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Bugnti's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Bugnti was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
