Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harry Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonard Prime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leonard Prime has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Hardy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Leonard Prime! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prime throws a series of punches but Hardy avoids them all with ease. Hardy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Prime drives through and clinches with Hardy against the cage.
Hardy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Prime is trying to pull guard but Hardy has him pressed against the cage. A nice glancing elbow lands by Hardy. A short right from Hardy. Hardy wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hardy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Prime has him pressed against the cage. Prime jumps guard and drags Hardy to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Prime bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hardy's guard. Prime is looking to work some ground and pound but Hardy has wrist control. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Prime's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Prime stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hardy swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hardy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Prime is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prime working some strikes from top position. Hardy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hardy is trying to control the position but Prime postures up. Prime content to stall in guard here. Prime trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Prime cracks Hardy with a solid left hand. Hardy wants to stand up but Prime is controlling him. Prime lands a couple of elbows. Prime is pushing down on Hardy's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hardy is fighting to maintain full guard but Prime has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Prime is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Hardy is looking to escape. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Prime lands a nice short elbow. Prime stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Hardy to get to his feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Prime misses with a head kick.
Hardy looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Prime is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hardy swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Prime counters with a single leg into guard. Hardy didn't expect that. Prime engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Prime has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prime lands a couple of elbows. Prime drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Prime jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Prime landing some decent shots from guard. Prime controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Prime working some strikes from top position. Hardy wants to sweep but no luck.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Prime is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Prime is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Prime wants to control from the top but Hardy keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hardy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Prime is one step ahead there. Prime wants to control from the top but Hardy keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leonard Prime dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hardy throws a head kick but Prime moves out of range.

Harry Hardy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Prime feints and as Hardy raises his hands in defense, Prime changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Hardy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Prime on the ground. Prime sitting in guard, not really doing much. Hardy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Prime is controlling him. Leonard Prime has got the better of the ground game so far. Prime controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Leonard Prime was stalling too much, according to the referee. Prime throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Prime keeps the fight on the outside. Prime closes the distance and pushes Hardy back into the cage. Hardy is trying to maintain a safe position but Prime gets an underhook and turns Hardy into the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Prime breaks the clinch.
Prime shoots in looking for a takedown. Hardy tries to sprawl out of it but Prime keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hardy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Prime tries to clinch but Hardy moves out of range. Prime takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hardy throws a hook but Prime avoids it easily. Hardy throws a sloppy head kick and Prime moves out of range easily. Prime fails in his attempt to clinch. Prime decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Prime is breathing heavily. Hardy wants to control but Prime is keeping busy.
Hardy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardy trying to hold on to Prime's head to control him but Prime postures up.
Prime not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Ground and pound from Prime. Prime trying to control from half guard but Hardy is working away. Hardy trying to control here.
Prime prevents Hardy from standing back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Prime lands with a punch from half guard. Prime works his foot free and advances to mount. Prime landing shots from mount. Hardy tries to hold on but Prime pushes him away. Prime connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Prime tries to control but Hardy wriggling away. Hardy is bucking up trying to escape but Prime cracks him with another couple of good strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leonard Prime showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Prime misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hardy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Prime darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Prime trying to control the action but Hardy is working from the bottom. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Prime connects with a nice short shot to Hardy's temple. Hardy trying to hold on to Prime's head to control him but Prime postures up.
Prime seems to be working for a kimura but Hardy defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prime looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hardy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Prime throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Prime stops Hardy from getting back to his feet.
Prime not landing any meaningful shots this time. Prime perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Prime missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Prime not landing any meaningful shots this time. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Prime maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Hardy could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Prime has cracked it and Hardy is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Prime!
