Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy The Bar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James comes into a darkened arena with his song building. "All Summer Long" By Kid Rock kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Frank James will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy The Bar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank James! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab lands there for James. James fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. The Bar tries to close the distance and clinch but James swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. The Bar fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. James sprawls well initially but The Bar persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The Bar is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and James reverses the position - he's now on top in The Bar's guard. James preventing the sweep. The Bar has his foot on James's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. James works his way back into a safe position though. The Bar tries to land a sweep but no joy. The Bar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. James gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. James pushes down on The Bar's leg and manages to get into half guard. James is controlling the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. James seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but The Bar does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The Bar lands with a few short shots to the body. James is looking to take a break and control but The Bar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The Bar tries to roll over but James keeps him under control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. James throws a shot to the body.
The Bar throws a right and a left that both miss. The Bar keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from James. James closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. James manages to break the clinch.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. James breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The Bar scores a takedown into full mount! The Bar pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The Bar is breathing heavily. James is wriggling around trying to escape.
James wants to hold on but The Bar pushes him away. The Bar looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
James tries to lock up and control but The Bar gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The Bar thowing shots but they're missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. James is working to get back to half guard.
James manages to control the position for a moment. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, The Bar cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Bar is working for a guillotine from mount but James frees his head quite easily.
The Bar punching from mount but James doing a good job of avoiding damage. The Bar thowing shots but they're missing. James tries to hold on but The Bar pushes him away. The Bar goes for an armbar but he's not got it… James turns into him and now he's in The Bar's guard.
The Bar looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but James puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. James passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for The Bar! The Bar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Bar is trying desperately to improve position. The Bar is working hard here to advance position. James tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The Bar is trying to escape the mount.

That was a close round but I would say that Billy The Bar will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
James misses with a low kick.
James instigates a clinch. James is pressed up against the cage. The Bar has hold of a leg and is looking to drag James down to the mat. James avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. James drops The Bar with a left right combo! James follows him down to the ground into side control.
The Bar is rocked!
It looks like Billy The Bar has been cut. James decides to take the fight back to the feet. Oh The Bar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! James is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - The Bar is in big trouble! James is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking The Bar. Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Frank James!
