Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ray Oliver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baldine Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliver's entrance music is Enter Sandman-Metallica. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliver shoots in and gets a takedown into Gracie's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Gracie looking for a sweep. Not yet Gracie, not yet.
Oliver controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
We're going to have a standup here because Ray Oliver wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Oliver circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Oliver.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Oliver swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Oliver tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gracie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Oliver somewhat.
Gracie throws a series of punches but Oliver moves out of range.
Gracie moves in looking to clinch but Oliver pushes him off.
Oliver shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gracie but Gracie pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Oliver shoots in but Gracie avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ray Oliver. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Oliver has closed the distance and engaged Gracie in a clinch.
Oliver has Gracie pressed against the cage, preventing Gracie from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Gracie is looking to break free of the clinch but Oliver has double underhooks.
Gracie stops a takedown attempt from Oliver.

Oliver is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gracie can't fight it off and eventually Oliver manages to take the fight to the floor. Gracie looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Oliver seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Oliver postures up.
Oliver stays in close to Gracie's body and controls the position.
Gracie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Oliver. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ray Oliver has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Oliver shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gracie sprawls well. Gracie wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Oliver gets slowly back to his feet.
Gracie lands with a nice combination. Oliver backs away looking to recover.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Oliver scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Oliver has hold of Gracie's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Gracie tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Oliver cranks the arm and Gracie screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Gracie, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Ray Oliver!
Our winner, Ray Oliver, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
