The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buddz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rhodes moves away.
Rhodes misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Buddz avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Rhodes displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Buddz.
Buddz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Buddz wants it to stay on the feet.
Buddz thows a body shot but no joy.

Buddz looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Rhodes!
Buddz throws a strike aimed at the side of Rhodes's head but Rhodes avoids it well.
Buddz tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Rhodes tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Buddz easily slips into full mount!

Buddz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
