The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sinisalo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Griffin misses with a leg kick
and Sinisalo counters with a straight right hand.
Sinisalo tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Griffin counters with an outside leg kick.
Sinisalo darts in and clinches Griffin up against the cage.
Sinisalo lands with a right to the head.
Sinisalo is leaning against Griffin and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Sinisalo digs a right hand underneath Griffin's ribcage. Griffin let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Griffin looks winded!
Sinisalo throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Griffins head.
Sinisalo is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Sinisalo lands an elbow inside that Griffin shrugs off.

It looks like Shane Griffin has been cut.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Sinisalo.
Griffin is rocked!
Sinisalo has Griffin pressed against the cage. He pushes Griffin back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Sinisalo throws a beautiful elbow that sends Griffin crashing to the floor! Sinisalo piles on the pressure with more strikes! Griffin is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Taisto Sinisalo!
