The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nolan closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Muuger's guard.

Muuger is pressed up against the cage. Nolan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Muuger down to the mat. Muuger avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Muuger is on top in guard.

Nolan has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Muuger is trying to keep an underhook but Nolan manages to get the takedown into half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Niko Muuger.

and Nolan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Muuger's guard now.
Nolan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Muuger throws a lazy right hand but Nolan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Nolan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Muuger napping and manages to drive through into side control!
