Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicklas Sandstorm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bruno Morrison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nicklas Sandstorm! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morrison clinches up with Sandstorm and pushes him back against the cage. Sandstorm tries to break free but Morrison pushes him back against the cage. Morrison blocking some punches.
Morrison drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sandstorm gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Sandstorm is trying to push Morrison away but Morrison has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Morrison successfully pulls guard.
Sandstorm is fighting to break Morrison's control of his arms but Morrison is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Morrison wriggles free and stands up. Morrison misses with a takedown attempt - Sandstorm sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Morrison closes the distance and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morrison breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sandstorm throws a wild body kick that Morrison sees coming a mile off. Morrison is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sandstorm sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruno Morrison. That's going to take a lot out of him. Morrison has his takedown stuffed and Sandstorm counters with a nice double leg into guard. Morrison is pulling down on Sandstorm's head. It's preventing any offense from Sandstorm, at least for the moment. Sandstorm trying to control the position from guard on top but Morrison is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Morrison will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Morrison controlling Sandstorm's posture. Morrison can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sandstorm controls the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Nicklas Sandstorm. Sandstorm takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Morrison shoots in for a double leg but Sandstorm sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Morrison shoots in looking for a takedown but Sandstorm manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Morrison's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Morrison is breathing heavily. Sandstorm misses with a takedown attempt - Morrison sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Morrison tries for a takedown but Sandstorm sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Sandstorm pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Morrison swats away the attempt to clinch by Sandstorm. Sandstorm dives in and grabs Morrison's left leg, looking for a takedown. Morrison pushes down on Sandstorm's head and hops out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sandstorm slaps away a takedown attempt from Morrison, before circling back to the center of the mat. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sandstorm. Sandstorm closes the distance looking to clinch and Morrison counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Morrison pulls guard effortlessly. Sandstorm trying to control but Morrison is working from the bottom. Sandstorm has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Morrison is proving hard to escape from. Morrison working for a triangle but Sandstorm defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Morrison is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sandstorm wants to control from the top but Morrison keeps moving. Morrison is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sandstorm tries to pull guard but Morrison holds him up against the cage and eventually Sandstorm drops back down to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bruno Morrison will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Morrison closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Morrison lands in his opponent's guard. Morrison knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sandstorm on the ground. Morrison throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sandstorm works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Morrison decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Sandstorm gets tackled into the cage by Morrison. Morrison maintains the clinch. Morrison drags the fight down to the ground.
Morrison wants to hit a switch here but Sandstorm passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Morrison there! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sandstorm looking to control but Morrison is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morrison is trying desperately to improve position. Sandstorm controlling from mount. Morrison is working to get back to half guard.
Morrison tries to lock up and control but Sandstorm gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morrison working to try and regain half guard.
Morrison is working hard here to advance position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sandstorm lands a heavy elbow. Morrison is in a horrible position here. Sandstorm smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Morrison sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Sandstorm wants to free his trapped foot but Morrison is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morrison wants to get back to full guard. Sandstorm stops Morrison from getting back to his feet.

Morrison is squirming around, avoiding Sandstorm's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sandstorm is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Morrison can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Bruno Morrison overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Morrison is squirming around, avoiding Sandstorm's attempts to control the action. Morrison sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Morrison is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sandstorm wants to stand up but Morrison has a hold of him and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Bruno Morrison will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Morrison pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Morrison will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Sandstorm shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Morrison as he jumps to the side. Sandstorm is trying hard to land a takedown here. Morrison sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Bruno Morrison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nicklas Sandstorm. Sandstorm takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Sandstorm tries to clinch but fails miserably and Morrison holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Sandstorm looking for a takedown. Morrison goes for a takedown attempt but Sandstorm pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Sandstorm jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Morrison walks away with a smile on his face. Sandstorm gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Morrison closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sandstorm circles away. Morrison is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sandstorm sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sandstorm tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Morrison counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Morrison.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Morrison connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Sandstorm tries to close the distance and clinch but Morrison swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that's the end of the fight! Bruno Morrison showed his dominance in that final round. Well Morrison has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
