Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thomas Boothe!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boothe throws a leg kick
and Plas counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Boothe is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Boothe loads up on a big right hand but Plas slips the punch.
Plas scores with a punch to the head.
Boothe throws a leg kick
and Plas counters with a slapping leg kick.
Plas tries to work over Boothe's front leg with a kick but Boothe checks it.
Boothe jabs Plas right on the nose. Plas blinks but takes it well.
Boothe takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Plas moves out of range of the leg kick from Boothe.
Plas missing with a left hand there. Boothe was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Plas checks a leg kick.
Plas lands a lovely overhand right.
Boothe looks to land a right hand but Plas moved out of range.
Boothe throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Vanden Plas has been cut.
Plas lands a nice leg kick that just misses Boothe's sensitive parts.
Plas throws a front kick aimed at Boothe's knee but Boothe avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Plas lands a leg kick that knocks Boothe off balance momentarily.
Boothe throws a leg kick but Plas checks it.
Boothe throws a nice head kick!
Plas lands with a thumping leg kick.
Boothe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Plas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Boothe.
Boothe misses with an uppercut.
Plas ducks right into an uppercut from Boothe.
Plas is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boothe throws a powerful right kick. Plas tried to block low but the kick was high! Plas was taken right off of his feet! Boothe jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
