Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jacqk Simbyl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff McManus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying McManus's choice of entrance music: AC/DC - TNT. Jeff McManus is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McManus closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Simbyl did well to prevent McManus getting side control.
McManus is thwarting Simbyl's attempts to control the position.

McManus is looking for a kimura but Simbyl is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for McManus to get the leverage.
McManus throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

McManus decides to stand and escape the position.
Simbyl feints a jab promting McManus to slip. Simbyl then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. McManus slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Jeff McManus has been cut.
Simbyl shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McManus but McManus pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Simbyl tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and McManus counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Simbyl!

McManus decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Simbyl throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Simbyl really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Simbyl gets tackled into the cage by McManus. McManus maintains the clinch.

McManus pulls Simbyl into guard.

McManus is looking to sinch up a triangle. Simbyl throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to McManus's body to avoid the submission. McManus has instead reached around Simbyl's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! McManus arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
