Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kiury Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Anderson ''The Spider'' Silva. Gracie is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Apaga mas não bate - Pregador Luo. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie feints and as Silva raises his hands in defense, Gracie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Silva keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.

Gracie decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Silva, up you get!
Silva tries to clinch up

so Gracie counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Silva is keeping the position for now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gracie is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Silva wants to stand but Gracie is controlling the position.

Gracie decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Silva, up you get!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance.

Gracie bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Silva is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Gracie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie looks winded!

Gracie looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Gracie is trying to get an arm triangle but Silva is defending well.

Gracie stands up and beckons Silva to his feet.
Silva is looking to clinch but Gracie is avoiding it.
Silva closes the distance but Gracie moves to the side

and Gracie counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Silva's guard now.
Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gracie wanted to stand there but Silva had control of the position.

Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gracie looking to pass the guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Silva wants to stand up but Gracie is controlling him.
Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.

Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gracie stops Silva from standing up.
Gracie advances position into side control!
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Gracie decides to stand back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kiury Gracie dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Silva tries to clinch up

and Gracie counters by moving into the clinch.

Gracie jumps into guard, dragging Silva to the mat.
Silva postures up in Gracie's guard and throws a big left but Gracie blocks it.

Gracie has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Silva should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gracie has tightened it up now! Silva should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
