Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Liu Bei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Jalkalukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bei comes into the arena with Hypnotic blaring out of the sound system. Jalkalukko has chosen Jordan Sparks ft. Chris Brown - No Air as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jalkalukko throws a nice inside leg kick.
Jalkalukko throws a leg kick but Bei checks it.

Jalkalukko shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bei is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Jalkalukko closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jalkalukko lands in his opponent's guard.
Jalkalukko throws an elbow that misses. Bei uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jalkalukko's guard. Nice move by Bei!

Bei won't allow Jalkalukko to sweep him here.

Bei's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Liu Bei just wasn't active enough.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bei checks a leg kick.

and Jalkalukko counters with a low kick, right behind Bei 's knee.

Jalkalukko walks straight into a right hand from Bei - that's dropped him! Bei jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Jalkalukko from any more punishment! Jalkalukko complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
