Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Anthony Petruzelli! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Remy Shark! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shark throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Petruzelli throws a sloppy head kick and Shark counters with a big head kick but Petruzelli shrugs it off. Petruzelli throws a sloppy head kick and Shark counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Shark throws a head kick that misses. Petruzelli tries to clinch and Shark counters with a head kick. Petruzelli darts in trying to clinch and Shark holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Petruzelli wants to break free but Shark has control.
Petruzelli breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Shark circles away from the clinch attempt and Shark counters by clinching up. Petruzelli lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Petruzelli keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Petruzelli looks to clinch and Shark counters with a nice low kick that buckles Petruzelli's knee momentarily. Shark circles away from the clinch attempt and Shark counters with a head kick. That will keep Petruzelli thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! The fight moves into the clinch position. Petruzelli crunches a lovely knee into Shark's ribcage. Petruzelli breaks from the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Petruzelli shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anthony Petruzelli. That's going to take a lot out of him. A head kick misses from Petruzelli. Petruzelli looks to clinch and Shark moves into the clinch. Petruzelli breaks the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shark looking to sit in guard and control but Petruzelli gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Shark is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Shark looks gassed! Shark keeping full guard, as Petruzelli tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shark is wriggling around but Petruzelli manages to pass to half guard.
Petruzelli thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Shark's head. Shark is staying active underneath Petruzelli, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Petruzelli is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Petruzelli is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Shark doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Petruzelli.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Shark fails with an attempt to clinch.

It looks like Remy Shark has been cut. Petruzelli looks to clinch and Shark counters with a nice kick to the body. Petruzelli tries to clinch but fails miserably and Shark moves into the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Petruzelli throws a knee to the head but misses.
Shark has Petruzelli pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Petruzelli manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Petruzelli throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Shark blocks it with crossed arms. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Petruzelli tries to close the distance and clinch up but Shark swats him away and circles back towards the center. Shark throws a low kick but it's checked well by Petruzelli. Shark avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Remy Shark showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Remy Shark's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Petruzelli tries to close the distance and clinch but Shark swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Petruzelli wants to clinch and Shark counters by moving into the clinch. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Petruzelli just misses with a elbow thrown towards Shark's brow. Petruzelli tries to pull guard but Shark holds him up against the cage and eventually Petruzelli drops back down to his feet.

Petruzelli wants to clinch and Shark counters with a body kick that stops Petruzelli in his tracks momentarily. Shark takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Shark looking to sit in guard and control but Petruzelli gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Shark wants to stand up but Petruzelli is controlling him. Petruzelli loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shark looking to hit a scissor sweep but Petruzelli is one step ahead there. Shark is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Petruzelli is pushing down on Shark's leg trying to pass to half guard. Shark is fighting to maintain full guard but Petruzelli has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petruzelli thows a huge punch but Shark dodges it nicely.
Shark gets full guard. Shark wants to sweep but no luck. Shark lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Petruzelli! Shark goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Petruzelli is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Petruzelli trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Shark looking for a sweep. Not yet Shark, not yet. Petruzelli trying to control but Shark is working from the bottom. Anthony Petruzelli has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Shark preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Shark managing to control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Remy Shark comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Shark has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
