Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Clausey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Executioner Ezekiel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clausey has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Ezekiel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Clausey looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Clausey avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Executioner Ezekiel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clausey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ezekiel moves into the clinch.
Ezekiel has Clausey pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Clausey manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Ezekiel jumps into guard, dragging Clausey to the mat.
Ezekiel will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ezekiel can do anything to dispel that myth.
Ezekiel looking to hit a scissor sweep but Clausey is one step ahead there.
Clausey avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clausey lands a couple of digs.

Ezekiel tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Ezekiel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Clausey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Clausey wants to control from the top but Ezekiel keeps moving.
Ezekiel working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Clausey doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Clausey manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ezekiel takes the fight into the clinch.
Ezekiel has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Clausey clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Clausey manages to reverse the position and now he's in Ezekiel's guard. Nice work there by Clausey.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ezekiel striking off his back but it's not causing Clausey any problems.

Clausey trying to control the position from guard on top but Ezekiel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ezekiel throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Ezekiel scores with a nice shot.
Clausey trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Clausey accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ezekiel thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Clausey wants to stand but Ezekiel is controlling his posture from full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Ezekiel tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Clausey throws a leg kick which misses Ezekiel's front leg but catches the back leg as Ezekiel tries to avoid it.
Ezekiel moves into range and clinches up with Clausey.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ezekiel with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Clausey scores with a shot to the side of Ezekiel's head.
Ezekiel gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Clausey regains guard.
Ezekiel must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ezekiel working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Clausey looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Ezekiel is defending well. Clausey quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Ezekiel has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Clausey celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
