Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carl Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Nyman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carl Mason is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Carl Mason! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Blake Nyman! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mason is defended easily by Nyman. Nyman stuffs the takedown. A cross from Nyman lands. Nyman sizes up Mason with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Mason fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Mason. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mason is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nyman sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Mason ducks straight into an uppercut from Nyman and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Mason manages to regain guard straight away.
Mason is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nyman has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mason is proving hard to escape from. Oh Mason is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Nyman is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Mason on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mason tries to get out of the position. Mason has his foot on Nyman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nyman works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mason has a closed guard, preventing Nyman from standing up. Mason seems to have got his legs back now. Mason is controlling Nyman's posture.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Carl Mason just wasn't active enough. Mason misses with a takedown attempt - Nyman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Nyman stuffs the takedown. Nyman defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mason.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Mason. Nyman bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mason's head backwards. Mason changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nyman tries to avoid it but Mason manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nyman to the ground. Nyman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mason takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Mason is breathing heavily. Mason doesn't manage to clinch there - Nyman circles away.
Nyman darts in and out, connecting with a jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. No joy there for Nyman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mason misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Mason takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Nice sprawl there from Nyman as Mason shoots in. Nyman wobbles Mason with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Nyman dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Mason to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
