Stoyanovich kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hymn To Red October. Bitaskis is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Wuthering Heights - Bad Hobbits Die Hard . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Bitaskis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stoyanovich was covering up waiting for the punch and Bitaskis finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Stoyanovich wants to stand but Bitaskis is controlling the position.
Bitaskis trying to control but Stoyanovich is working from the bottom.
Bitaskis might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Stoyanovich haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Stoyanovich is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Bitaskis drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stoyanovich manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bitaskis has Stoyanovich in his guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bitaskis is on top in guard.
Bitaskis throws a big right hand that misses.

Bitaskis drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stoyanovich manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bitaskis has Stoyanovich in his guard.

Bitaskis has his feet on Stoyanovich's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Stoyanovich leaves Bitaskis with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Dragoslav Stoyanovich will probably get the nod.

Bitaskis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stoyanovich circles away quickly and effectively.
