The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giles chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Your tries to clinch but Giles is having none of it.
Giles throws a quick inside leg kick.
Your keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Giles.

Giles has taken the fight to the clinch.

Giles escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Giles shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Your sprawls well. Your wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Giles gets slowly back to his feet.
Punch Your has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Giles.

David Giles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Your throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Giles's waist but Giles gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Your off to one side.
Your really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Giles shoots for a double leg takedown but Your sprawls well. He's pushed Giles's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Giles gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Giles has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Your is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Your is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Giles stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Your swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Giles wants to pass the guard but Your is keeping the position.

Giles fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Your avoids it really well and circles away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Giles is trying to control Your's posture but Your avoids it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but David Giles will probably get the nod.

Your thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Your pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Giles is keeping the position for now.
Your trying to control the position from guard on top but Giles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Your is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Giles is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Your preventing the sweep.
Giles preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Your will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by David Giles.

Giles takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Giles rushes Your and presses him up against the cage.
Giles's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Punch Your will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Giles lands with a shot to the body.

Giles closes the distance and clinches.
Giles is trying to force a seperation but Your has the dominant position.
Your jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Giles walks away with a smile on his face. Your gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Giles tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Your manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Your throws a head kick but Giles moves out of range.
Giles shoots in for a double leg but Your sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Your gets caught napping as Giles dives in and scores a takedown. Your manages to retain guard.
Your looking to hit a scissor sweep but Giles is one step ahead there.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Your working for a triangle but Giles defends it easily.
Your is trying to hold Giles in close to prevent damage but Giles has managed to pass into half guard.
Giles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Your. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Your wants to improve his position but Giles is controlling well.
Giles moves nicely into side control.
You can see the frustration on Your's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
David Giles has got the better of the ground game so far.
Giles working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Your is trying to improve his position.
Giles trying to control the position but Your is working away.
Giles in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Giles has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Your closes this distance looking for a takedown but Giles circles away.
Your blocks a head kick by Giles.
Your defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Giles.

A decent looking cross lands there for Your.
Giles shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Your as he avoids it easily.
Punch Your has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Giles.
Your shoots in but Giles avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Your tries to clinch up.
Your doesn't manage to clinch there - Giles circles away.
Giles changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Your tries to avoid it but Giles manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Your to the ground. Your escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Giles tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Your paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Your will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

And that's the end of the fight!
David Giles comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Giles has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
