Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Super Hans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jermaine Choake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hans comes to the cage accompanied by Hans being Hans. Choake has chosen Hans Zimmer - The Kraken as his entrance music. Jermaine Choake has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Super Hans! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jermaine Choake! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hans lands a slapping body shot.
Hans stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hans wants it to stay on the feet. Hans misses with a looping right. Hans throws a big shot that misses. Choake keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hans. Hans tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Choake was well out of range. Poor timing from Hans. Choake gets caught napping as Hans dives in and scores a takedown. Choake manages to retain guard. Hans trying to control but Choake is working from the bottom. Hans throws a big right hand that misses. Choake bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hans's guard. Hans is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Choake is aware though and is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hans working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Choake. Hans keeping moving, preventing Choake from controlling successfully. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Choake postures up in Hans's guard and throws a big left but Hans blocks it.

Choake postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Choake wants to control from the top but Hans keeps moving. Hans is trying to control the position but Choake postures up. Hans has momentary wrist control but Choake slips an elbow through the middle. Hans preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hans had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Choake defends it easily. Choake's corner is telling him to maintain position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Choake stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hans swivels though and keeps the full guard. Choake has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Choake forces his way into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Choake is trying to control the action in half guard but Hans is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Hans wants to control but Choake is keeping busy.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hans is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Choake pulls his head out easily. Hans manages to get to full guard.

Choake is working Hans over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Hans is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Nice strikes from Hans there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hans works his way into side control. Choake is looking for a sweep. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Choake scores with a shot to the body.
Hans is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Choake is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Hans thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Super Hans will probably get the nod. That's time! Hans's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Choake moves into the clinch. Hans wants to get back to striking at distance but Choake won't allow it.

Choake has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hans after a bit of a struggle. Choake lands with a left to the head. Hans lands a hook that snaps the head of Choake backwards. Hans scores with a shot to the side of Choake's head. Hans swings wildly with an uppercut but Choake uses good head movement to avoid it. Choake can't get the takedown.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hans. A short left from Hans. Hans lands with a right to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Choake successfully pulls guard.
Hans stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Choake swivels though and keeps the full guard.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Choake can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Choake working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Choake trying to control but Hans is working from the bottom. Choake lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hans keeping moving, preventing Choake from controlling successfully. Choake has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hans clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Choake has Hans flattened out and is raining down punches. Hans is really stuck here.
Choake looking for the choke but no joy. Hans trying to control the action but Choake just sinks the hooks in. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Choake.
That's one minute gone in the round. Choake has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hans has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Choake has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Hans. Choake is persistently looking for the submission but Hans is defending it well.
Well, with Choake on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Hans is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Choake trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Hans doesn't escape. Choake gets his hands free as Hans looks to control. Hans is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Choake gets his way!

Choake is trying to stick to Hans's back but Hans is turning into Choake. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Choake's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hans. This has been an exciting period of action! Choake wants to sweep here but Hans controlling him for the moment. Choake has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hans is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Choake. Hans trying to control the position but Choake is working away. Choake wants to control but Hans postures up. Hans trying to control the action but Choake is working from the bottom. Not this time though. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hans won't allow Choake to pass to mount. Hans is looking for a sweep. Choake is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Choake seems to be looking for submissions.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Choake wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hans keeps working.
